CT Scan Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 4x10 hours from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with holiday rotation.

Job Description

The CT Scan Technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality CT images and assisting in various diagnostic procedures in a Level 1 Trauma and Teaching Hospital setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the use of CT imaging technology and possess strong clinical skills to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and produce high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
• Administer contrast media and monitor patient reactions.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide effective patient care.
• Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any issues.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Scan Technologist with Level 1 Trauma experience preferred.
• Current certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R) (CT), and SCRQSA (R) (CT).
• Experience with PIV and Siemens imaging systems.
• Historical experience in a high-acuity medical environment is a plus.
