Schedule

Day shifts, 3x12-hour schedule from 07:00 to 19:00, with options of 36 or 48 hours.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse with a strong background in patient care to join a dynamic and fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in emergency medicine and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency room.
• Assess and triage patients based on severity of illness.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and manage patients experiencing acute medical conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities in the electronic health record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of recent ER nursing experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications in hand at time of submission.
• Valid Kansas or Compact RN license required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
