Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 4x12-hour schedule (11:00 - 23:00). Option of 36 or 48 hours per week with two weekend shifts required per contract.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency care and possess essential certifications. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients experiencing a range of medical emergencies.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Conduct assessments and monitor patient progress.
• Manage critical care situations and collaborate with healthcare providers.
• Utilize Epic charting system to document patient care effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Kansas or compact license required.
• Minimum of 1 year ER experience.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC.
• Epic charting experience is mandatory.
