Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with rotating call required seven days a week.

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will rotate between the Nuclear Medicine Departments at BBMP and Main Campus. Responsibilities include performing a variety of nuclear medicine exams, including bone scans, HIDA scans, and other specified imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures.
• Administering radiopharmaceuticals and ensuring patient safety.
• Interpreting images and analyzing results.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to discuss findings.
• Adhering to safety protocols and quality control measures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Current NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certification required; ARRT(CT) preferred but not mandatory.
• BLS certification is required.
• State License Required: SCQRSA in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography.
• Experience with procedures including bone scans, HIDA scans, and others as specified.
