Cardiothoracic RN - CVOR

Schedule

This position requires a day shift, working three 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. On-call duties are required, with approximately 5-8 calls per month, including weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic RN to join our CVOR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for circulating complex cardiac and thoracic cases, including adult heart and lung transplants, CABG, valves, TAVRs, and more. This role involves working in a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center and teaching facility.

Responsibilities

• Circulate various cardiothoracic surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
• Maintain meticulous surgical documentation and standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiac and Thoracic surgery.
• Current SC or Multi-state RN license in hand at the start of the contract.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be AHA certified).
• Experience with charting systems, specifically EPIC.
• Radiation badge required, to be provided by the agency.
