Mammography Technologist

Schedule

This position requires a DAY shift, consisting of 8-hour workdays from Monday to Friday. The available times are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week, with holidays as needed.

Job Description

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing mammography procedures with a focus on patient safety and comfort. This role requires expertise in imaging techniques and maintaining high-quality standards in mammography services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certification in Mammography with ARRT.
• Active NY state license at the time of submission.
• AHA BLS certification.
• Continuing experience of performing at least 200 mammograms in the last 24 months.
• 24 credit hours of continuing education per biennium, with 15 credit hours specifically in mammography.
• 8 hours of training in digital mammography.
• 8 hours of training in tomography (2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates).
