Per Diem RN Position in Interventional Radiology

Schedule

This is a per diem position with shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, requiring 5 eight-hour shifts per week. Weekend shifts may be on-call only.

Job Description

We are a small community hospital providing care to less than 20 patients a day, including both inpatients and outpatients. Our department typically staffs 2-3 techs and 3-4 RNs per shift. We are seeking a dedicated RN to join our Interventional Radiology unit and assist with a variety of procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various interventional radiology procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, line placements, lumbar punctures, biopsies, drain placements, and dialysis work.
• Set up tables and scrub for procedures alongside physicians.
• Utilize Epic to look up patient information and maintain records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency with Siemens Artis Zee and GE Ultrasounds.
