Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule

This position requires availability for a 12-hour night shift, with varying schedules from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality care to patients during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. The RN will monitor the health of mothers and infants, assist in labor and delivery, and provide education and support to families.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients during labor and delivery.
• Implement and evaluate patient care plans based on individual patient needs.
• Provide support and education to families during the birthing process.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery specialty.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Current NRP certification.
• AWHONN certification is required.
