Computed Tomography Technologist

This position offers varied shifts, with a 10-hour work schedule. Please note that no time off will be granted in the first 13 weeks of the contract.

Job Description

The Computed Tomography Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of CT scans in accordance with established protocols while functioning independently without supervision. This role requires a strong understanding of radiology protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine CT scans per radiologist protocols.
• Independently handle imaging procedures without supervision.
• Experience with CT units and reporting software is preferred.
• Administer venipuncture and assist in various procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and vascular or cardiac imaging.
• Utilize knowledge of trauma and stroke protocols effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of two years of experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation is preferred.
• Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved exception required prior to contract start date.
