Respiratory Therapist - 13 Week Contract

Shifts are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist for a contract position in a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will possess skills in the management of adult patients, including proficiency in the use of ventilators and oxygen therapy. Candidates must have valid certifications in ACLS and BLS. This role requires no on-call responsibilities and offers a supportive work environment focused on patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed.
• Perform assessments of patients' respiratory status.
• Manage ventilators and other respiratory equipment.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and equipment use.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records and EMR entries.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RRT certification.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Experience with ICU, NICU, or PICU is a plus.
