Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Contract Position

Schedule

Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a preference for NICU experience to join our respiratory therapy team. As a member of our staff, you will provide essential respiratory care and support to patients, ensuring their comfort and health in our facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy to patients, including assessments, treatments, and interventions.
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy as needed.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and healthy practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Texas Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• Minimum of one year of adult respiratory therapy experience.
• Preferred experience in NICU settings.
