LTC LVN/LPN Travel Nurse Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are 4x12 hours, either days or nights, dependent on facility needs. Must be willing to work at least two of the three major Winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated LTC LVN/LPN with previous travel experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess an Alaska nursing license and have experience in long-term care facilities. Responsibilities will include providing essential patient care, assisting with activities of daily living, and communicating patient status changes to the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient admissions and discharges
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the RN or MD
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Provide personal care to residents including bathing, grooming, and feeding
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Support residents in rehabilitation and mobility needs

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of one year of experience in long-term care settings
• Current Alaska nursing license in hand
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• All caregivers must obtain the Alaska Food Worker Certification upon arrival
