Ultrasound Technician - Per Diem

Schedule

Variable coverage for different shifts, primarily from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to provide high-quality imaging services on a per diem basis. This role is vital in assisting healthcare professionals with diagnostic imaging needs, ensuring patient safety and comfort while obtaining accurate images for assessments.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound exams as ordered by physicians.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and ensure it is functioning correctly.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
• Document patient information and imaging results accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid state license as an Ultrasound Technician.
• Completion of Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.
• Current certifications in required safety and health protocols (e.g., Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, COVID-19 Vaccine).
• Personal health history including recent TB testing and fit testing.
• Results from a background check and drug screening.
