Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our I CARE team in the Respiratory Department. This role involves performing quality respiratory treatments and testing across all age groups, educating patients and families, and helping to develop discharge plans. Our Respiratory team plays a crucial role in both inpatient and outpatient settings, making this position vital for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various types of respiratory equipment.
• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
• Provide care to patients across all age groups, including newborns.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory diseases and medications.
• Conduct various tests including EKGs and 6-Minute Walk Tests (6 MWT).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduated from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Must be a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist with a current license in the State of Montana.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.

Schedule

This position offers a 7 on, 7 off night shift schedule.
