This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). The shifts may be variable based on operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care at a leading hospital. The role involves potential floating to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department to care for a similar patient demographic.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Tele setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and manage medical interventions.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty.
• Active Ohio RN license or a compact state license in hand.
• Current AHA or American Red Cross certifications for BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the last 12 months is required.
• Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.
