This position offers flexible scheduling options with the choice of either 36 hours or 48 hours per week:

• 3x12 hour shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 4x12 hour shifts for a total of 48 hours per week

Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Emergency Room Registered Nurse with extensive experience in critical access hospitals. This role combines 60% Emergency Department responsibilities with 40% critical access charge duties, including floating to Med/Surg Stepdown. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in emergency care as well as charge experience. Candidates must be willing to assist with Stepdown and Med/Surg patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in a critical access setting.
• Function in a charge nurse capacity, leading and coordinating care in the emergency department.
• Float to Med/Surg Stepdown as needed, providing support and care for diverse patient populations.
• Assist with the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of current Emergency Room experience.
• Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital strongly preferred.
• Charge nurse experience is highly preferred.
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (all from the American Heart Association).
• Valid RN license in New Hampshire.
