Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Schedule

This position requires availability for day shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our patient care team. The RN will be accountable for the management and delivery of patient care to assigned patients, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team within the scope of practice defined in the New York State Nurse Practice Act. This role involves providing direct patient care, delegating responsibilities as appropriate, and serving as the leader of the interdisciplinary team in collaboration with, and under the direction of, the attending physician. Candidates must possess EPIC experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the PACU setting.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize EPIC for patient documentation and management.
• Oversee procedural sedation and manage AM admissions/blocks and recovery.
• Act as a leader within the interdisciplinary team in patient care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of PACU experience.
• Experience with AM admissions/blocks and recovery is required.
• Experience in procedural sedation is required.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Current New York RN license is required; Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate is mandatory.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
