Job Description

The Surgical Technician will be responsible for assisting in cardiovascular surgeries within the CVOR. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in scrubbing for various cardiac procedures and have successfully completed two travel assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures, providing direct support to the surgical team.
• Prepare and maintain operating rooms and surgical instrumentation.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure optimal patient care during procedures.
• Participate in on-call shifts as assigned.
• Follow hospital surgical attire policies and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Extensive experience in the scrub role for various cardiovascular surgeries.
• First assist experience and proficiency preferred but not required.
• CVOR experience is mandatory, with at least two travel assignments completed.
