Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Unit

Schedule

Shifts available: Night (19:00 - 07:00) and Day (07:00 - 19:00), 3x12-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive patient care in a dynamic medical surgical unit, managing the needs of patients through effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Manage medical equipment and perform procedures as needed.
• Prepare and educate patients regarding their treatment plans.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions in the Cerner charting system.
• Provide care for patients with diverse diagnoses including post-operative care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year previous charge experience required.
• Active PA or Compact RN license required at submission.
• Experience with Cerner charting system is a must.
• Current AHA certifications must be provided.
• Flu vaccine required with exemptions only for medical or religious reasons.
