Registered Nurse - Operating Room

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

10-hour day shifts, 10x4 schedule. Flexible with weekends and holidays, but no block scheduling.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will have prior travel experience, specifically in a Level 1 Trauma setting, and possess a high rating on their skills checklist, including expertise in neuro and vascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room.
• Assist in the preparation and management of surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize electronic applications including Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard for communication and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Previous travel experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Experience in Level 1 Trauma environment is mandatory.
• Proficiency in neuro and vascular procedures is required.
• Must be competent in Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard with necessary electronics for access.
