Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Our unit specializes in managing a variety of medical and surgical patients with a focus on neuro conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for 4-6 patients at a time
• Perform standard nursing skills, including IV insertions and medication administration
• Communicate effectively with all members of the care team
• Document patient care in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Maintain and manage urinary catheters and central lines

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of acute medical/surgical experience within the last year
• Must possess an active RN license
• Experience with neuro patients, including CVA's, TIA's, and AMS is preferred
