Job Description

Join our Emergency Department team as an experienced Emergency/Trauma Registered Nurse. You will provide expert care in a fast-paced Level 2 trauma center, ensuring patient safety and comfort during critical situations. You will utilize your advanced nursing skills and experience to manage trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis cases while adhering to best practices and hospital protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer emergency and trauma care to patients in critical settings.
• Perform and assist with all procedures associated with a Level 2 trauma center.
• Utilize advanced nursing skills in trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis care.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Utilize AIDET and whiteboards to enhance patient experience.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Emergency/Trauma RN in a Level 2 trauma center.
• Must possess valid certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC (or PALS), TNCC, and NIH.
• Must hold a current Kansas RN license; preferred CEN or TCRN certification.
• Advanced knowledge of trauma care, STEMI care, stroke care, sepsis, and triage.
