Job Description

The Computed Tomography Technologist performs imaging examinations on patients of all ages, contributing to the efficient operation of the department while ensuring quality and continuity of patient care. This role utilizes specialized training in imaging modalities to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT angiography studies including PE chest, CTA head, CTA neck, and CTA abdomen with lower extremity run off.
• Utilize radiography and computed tomography equipment effectively.
• Engage in departmental duties as needed, serving as a receptionist/clerk when required.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety throughout imaging procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program with dedicated CT training preferred.
• Current registration with ARRT (R)(CT) or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Two years post-graduation experience preferred.
• Experience with Siemens and Fuji equipment preferred.
