Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our High-Risk Obstetrics unit. The successful candidate will provide care to patients, including those on continuous monitoring and antepartum patients. The role requires flexibility to float to nearby lower-volume hospitals as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in a high-risk obstetrics unit.
• Monitor vital signs and assist with early inductions and antepartum care.
• Effectively communicate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform assessments and document patient information accurately.
• Float to nearby hospitals when required, while adhering to scope of practice.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2.5-3 years of experience in obstetrics nursing.
• Current active New Jersey RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
• Must pass a Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing the contract.
• Preferred experience with EPIC charting system.
