Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated NICU Respiratory Therapist who will provide high-quality care to critically ill and premature infants in a Level IV NICU environment. The qualified candidate will work efficiently in both neonatal and pediatric units, adapting to the specific needs of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments using various modalities including Bubble CPAP, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP.
• Assist in intubation and extubation procedures.
• Monitor and manage mechanical ventilation.
• Perform capillary blood gas analysis and other related tasks.
• Provide pulmonary hygiene and tracheostomy care as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Level 3 NICU or higher.
• Current Pennsylvania Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• Current certifications in BLS and NRP required; PALS is preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
