Registered Nurse - Ortho Unit

Schedule

This position entails a 12-hour day shift from 7 AM to 7 PM, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will primarily cover the orthopedic unit but may also float to other units as required by patient census. This role demands flexibility and a strong foundation in nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the orthopedic unit.
• Float to other units as needed based on patient census.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
• Monitor vital signs and assist with patient assessments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
