Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 3x12, Days, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM, with holiday rotation. Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality respiratory care services. The ideal candidate must be able to float to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery, and have recent critical care experience. This role will require proficiency in various respiratory therapy equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care to patients in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and manage ventilation in critical care scenarios.
• Perform respiratory assessments and monitor patient responses to therapy.
• Administer various respiratory medications and perform necessary procedures.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience.
• Current South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license required.
• National certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) must be held at the time of start.
• Experience with critical care and ability to manage complex respiratory needs.
