Pediatric Echo Tech

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5 days a week (Monday - Friday), with 8-hour shifts starting as early as 6:30 AM and as late as 8:00 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Echo Tech to perform echocardiograms on pediatric patients, proficient in complex congenital heart defects. Experience with GE echocardiography machines and PACS systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pediatric echocardiograms with a daily caseload of 4-10 patients.
• Proficiently enter reports in PACS systems.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality care for patients with complex heart disease and defects.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric echocardiography experience.
• Registered Pediatric Sonographer (ARDMS) with the PE certification or CCI with the RCCS certification required at the time of start.
• BLS certification required.
• Proficiency in scanning pediatric echocardiograms is necessary.
