Day shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00). Weekends required every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated PCU/Stepdown RN with cardiac drip experience for a dynamic role in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, and may float between units depending on staffing needs. Candidates must have previous experience with stepdown or PCU nursing and be skilled in cardiac telemetry.

Responsibilities

• Manage and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Provide care to PCU patients with a variety of cardiac-related conditions.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Float to other units (Telemetry or Med/Surg) as needed based on staffing levels.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license (Compact license required).
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a stepdown or PCU setting.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry and managing cardiac drips.
