Registered Nurse - Surgical Services

Schedule

10-hour shifts from 6:45 am to 5:15 pm on non-consecutive working days with a random day off from Monday to Friday.

Job Description

The Surgical Services team is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic environment focused on both elective and life-saving procedures. The ideal candidate will contribute to a variety of surgical specialties, enhancing patient care and outcomes. A strict attendance policy is in place, advocating reliability among contractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Experience in Orthopedic, General, Endo-Vascular, Urgo, and OB specialties preferred.
• Current Michigan RN license required; verification through LARA and Nursys is necessary.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
