Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day. Shifts consist of:

• 3 Shifts: 7 AM - 4 PM (1-hour lunch)
• 2 Shifts: 10:30 AM - 7 PM (30-minute lunch)

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans according to patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role is responsible for the delegation of all therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective community reintegration. The therapist also serves as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers while adhering to the organization's mission statement and core values.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans focused on timely discharge.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately and in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Participate in student education programs and provide appropriate supervision and feedback.
• Create and pursue a professional development plan, engaging in continuing education as required.
• Maintain professional licensure and compliance with discipline-specific codes of conduct.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient clinical experience required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure is required.
