Endoscopy Nurse

Schedule

Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, on-call including one weekend a month and one additional day a week.

Job Description

The Endoscopy Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care during various endoscopic procedures. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in endoscopy and be prepared to assist with a variety of tasks involving patients across both adult and pediatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and bronchoscopy.
• Assist in the preparation and recovery of patients before and after procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Experience or certification in endoscopy is preferred.
• Strong ability to work in a collaborative environment and manage patient care effectively.
• Ability to float between IR, PACU, and Day Surgery as needed.
