Charge RN - Critical Access Hospital

Schedule

This position involves working 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3x12 hour night shift schedule, totaling 36 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a Charge Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in Med/Surg nursing and experience in a Critical Access Hospital. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care, and must be prepared to float to the Emergency Department (ED) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the nursing team during shift hours.
• Ensure high standards of patient care in line with hospital policies.
• Coordinate patient care and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Float to the ED when required, providing care and support as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years current Med/Surg nursing experience.
• Previous charge experience is required.
• Experience in a Critical Access Hospital is highly preferred.
• Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• A valid RN license is mandatory.
• BSN is highly preferred.
• All licenses and certifications must be current at the time of submission.
