Seasonal Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Day Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and flexible Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for our main operating room, specializing in elective surgical cases including Ortho, Spine, General, Cardiovascular, Plastics, GYN, Robotics, and Urology. The successful candidate will work in a supportive, teamwork-oriented environment where patient care experience is prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Assist in elective surgical procedures, ensuring sterile techniques are maintained.
• Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgery.
• Provide support to the surgical team during procedures.
• Participate in patient care and maintain safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 6 months current acute care CST hospital experience.
• Must have NBSTA and DORA certifications.
• BLS certification is required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Ortho, Spine, and Cardiovascular cases is preferred.

Unit Guidelines/Policies

Call is required with a 30-minute response time. The role may involve being on second call during some weekends, with the possibility of first call for 1-2 shifts.
