Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30), including holiday rotation and every other weekend requirement.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist with a specialty in Pediatrics to provide high-quality respiratory care to our patients. You will be working in a dynamic environment, focusing on neonatal intensive care and pediatric critical patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients.
• Administer treatments as prescribed and according to established protocols.
• Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with facility policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in a NICU Level IV setting preferred.
• Current RRT certification.
• Certification in BLS, PALS, and NRP.
• South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license required at the start date.
• Epic experience preferred.
