Night 4x12-Hour Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide care in a 40-bed Level IV NICU, floating between neonatal and pediatric units as needed. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in a Level 3 NICU or PICU. The role involves working with critically ill and extremely premature infants and children.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory procedures including Bubble CPAP, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP, Intubation Assist, and Extubation.
• Administer treatments and monitor patient responses in both NICU and pediatric settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of experience in a Level 3 NICU or PICU.
• Current Pennsylvania Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License.
• Valid certifications: RRT, BLS, NRP required; PALS preferred.
