7.5 Hours per day, 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist with strong experience in utilizing IMRT, 3D, SRS, SBRT, CBCT, and Align RT to provide high-quality radiation therapy to patients. The ideal candidate will possess the technical and interpersonal skills necessary to operate treatment units effectively while maintaining clear communication with patients throughout the treatment process.

Responsibilities

• Accurately deliver planned courses of radiation therapy with minimal supervision.
• Perform daily and monthly QA for linac and CT, ensuring treatment accuracy.
• CT/simulate patients for radiation therapy in accordance with department protocols.
• Construct immobilization devices and apply IV contrast as needed during simulations.
• Conduct respiratory gating and ACQ simulation, accommodating for SBRT treatment.
• Train fellow therapists in CT/simulation techniques and ensure compliance with necessary documentation.
• Maintain detailed records of daily treatments, prescriptions, and patient information.
• Utilize MOSAIQ for treatment management, ensuring all parameters are verified and updated.
• Adhere to safety standards and department policies while promoting best practices for radiation protection.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Strong experience using IMRT, 3D, SRS, SBRT, CBCT, and Align RT.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage complex treatments and patient interactions.
