Medical Lab Scientist - Point of Care Testing

This position requires availability for the following shifts: Saturday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, totaling 24 hours.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Medical Lab Scientist to perform point of care testing in a fast-paced emergency setting. The candidate will be responsible for executing tests accurately and efficiently, while also performing clerical duties as assigned in support of facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct point of care testing on patient samples.
• Perform clerical duties as required by nursing and laboratory directors.
• Ensure compliance with facility standards and protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of tests performed and results obtained.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• MLS certification through ASCP or equivalent (MLS, CLS, MT Medical Technologist).
• Full licensure required (no Associates).
• Experience with point of care testing preferred.
