Days, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM; every other week floating required; holidays required.

Job Description

The Travel Med Surg/Tele RN is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves directing and coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices while collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Medication administration will utilize bedside scanning technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med Surg and Tele departments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management.
• Assist in the care of patients with a wide variety of needs, including but not limited to Med Surg, Ortho, Post-op, CHF, and Respiratory patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have recent experience in an acute care setting.
• BLS certification required.
• 2+ years of RN experience required, including 2+ completed travel assignments.
• Recent experience with Cerner charting preferred.
