Job Description

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) will provide direct patient care in the operating room setting, collaborating with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. The role involves circulating in various surgical specialties including general, orthopedic, obstetrics, ENT, and podiatry, as well as participating in pain management on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Circulate surgeries including general, orthopedic, obstetric, ENT, and podiatric procedures.
• Participate in pain management cases on a rotating and weekend call basis.
• Administer blood products and manage specimens.
• Follow safety protocols including fire safety and laser safety.
• Utilize Universal Protocol (Time out) procedures to enhance patient safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting preferred.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
• Must have a valid state or compact RN license.
