Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule

Day shift, 3 -12 hour shifts, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with a focus on telemetry and medical-surgical nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, and manage dysrhythmias.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Complete necessary assessments and charting using the designated system.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months of experience in a permanent Medical Surgical / Telemetry role.
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State License in hand at the time of submission.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
