Schedule

Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30), with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our high-risk labor and delivery unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality care to obstetrical patients, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring positive outcomes for mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

• Assist with labor and delivery, including high-risk cases.
• Administer medications and monitor maternal and fetal health.
• Provide education and support to expectant mothers and families.
• Perform assessments and interventions as required.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active AK RN license required at the time of hire for auto offer.
• Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience preferred.
• Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRP.
• Charge experience is preferred or willingness to train for charge duties.
