Registered Nurse - Night Shift (4x12 Hours)

This position requires a Night shift (4x12 Hours) from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for up to 6 patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress.
• Provide support in emergency situations and participate in rapid response and code teams.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including Physical Therapy and Social Services.
• Educate patients and families about health management and wellness.
• Utilize the Epic charting system for all patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including charge experience preferred.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Compact license accepted.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with patient care management including telemetry and medication administration.
• Ability to float within the scope of practice as required.
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.
