Cath Lab Technologist

Day shift, 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30).

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technologist will assist in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab, monitoring patients and ensuring their safety during all stages of the processes.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional catheterizations.
• Monitor procedural sedation and assist in the interpretation/management of dysrhythmias.
• Support with pulmonary artery line and Swan Ganz monitoring.
• Participate in 8-12 days of call per month for STEMI or vascular cases.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required.
• Must hold current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and RCIS.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
