Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The ideal candidate will provide top-quality care for critically ill patients, utilizing their specialized knowledge and skills in cardiovascular nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the CVICU with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1.
• Manage ventilators, art lines, central lines, chest tubes, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Meditech.
• Support CABG recovery and utilize CRRT and Impella as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU or any Critical Care specialty).
• Experience with ventilators, art/central line management, and chest tube management.
• Current RN license and required certifications.
• BSN and CCRN preferred but not mandatory.
