Job Description

The Med-Surg RN will provide patient care in a 40-bed unit, supporting various medical and surgical patient needs. The role involves collaboration with the nursing team and provides excellent patient experience, adhering to unit-specific policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for 7 patients per nurse.
• Perform vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and other nursing duties.
• Document patient information accurately using the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with a team of nurses, PCTs, and clinical coordinators.
• Assist with procedures including EKGs, glucometer testing, and venipuncture as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of Med-Surg RN experience.
• Current Georgia RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
