Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our 12 Tower Unit. The nurse will play a crucial role in providing patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment, ensuring high standards of communication and responsiveness.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient assessments and general care.
• Manage wound care, tracheostomy, ostomy, drains, and chest tubes.
• Monitor and care for patients requiring dialysis or PCA pumps.
• Conduct safety checks every 1-2 hours and focus on bedside shift reporting.
• Administer medications with strict adherence to medication scanning protocols.
• Collaborate with the care team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Participate in post-operative care, including amputations, ostomy procedures, and wound vac management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Must have flexibility to float as required within the unit.
