Certified Central Sterile Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Central Sterile Technician to join our team. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong focus on patient safety and sterile processing. The technician will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient sterilization and distribution of surgical instruments and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the sterilization process for surgical instruments and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health standards and regulations regarding sterilization processes.
• Prepare, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments according to established protocols.
• Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and report on stock levels.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to meet the needs of various procedures.

Schedule

This position offers evening shifts, 8 hours from 3 PM to 11 PM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of current experience in central sterile processing.
• Certification in HSPA (IAHCSMM) is required.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
