Cardiac Sonographer Position

Job Description

Under the supervision and direction of the physician, the Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for performing, documenting, and communicating the results of diagnostic 2D and M-Mode echocardiographic procedures as well as stress echocardiograms. This role involves the hookup, disconnect, and downloading of Holter monitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic 2D and M-Mode echocardiographic procedures.
• Conduct stress echocardiograms and document results accurately.
• Manage the hookup, disconnect, and downloading of Holter monitors.
• Communicate findings to the physician effectively.
• Ensure high standards of patient care and safety during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• Certification from ARDMS or CCI required.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) of CCI.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a schedule of 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.
