Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Acute Rehabilitation unit. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the treatment and recovery of patients who have experienced loss of function due to injury or illness. Patient-focused specialized rehabilitation services are provided, ensuring each patient receives intense and customized rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, orthopedic injury, and other conditions.
• Administer medications and manage patient treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments and document patient progress in the electronic health record (CERNER).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure proper care for patients in isolation and manage wound care procedures.
• Utilize restraints as necessary and adhere to safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of California.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a rehabilitation or inpatient setting is preferred.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
